Access to Connect during Results Embargo

29th June 2022

We know how important it is to allow key staff to have early access to results during the embargo period. This is the reason why we have built some new permission features into Connect.

From early July, you will be able to set early access permissions for your admin users for the embargo period during the 2022 results season.

The embargo permissions feature will allow schools and colleges to identify the key members of senior staff who require access to Connect analysis on the day prior to each results day.

For Key Stage 5, early access permissions will be in operation between 12.01am on Wednesday 17 August to 8am on Thursday 18 August.

For Key Stage 4, early access permissions will be in operation between 12.01am on Wednesday 24 August to 8am on Thursday 25 August.

Setting permissions:

Administrators can set up early access permissions for key staff through the user management page.

All senior staff who request early access permissions must also be administrators for the centre Connect account.

Please note: As per JCQ regulations, early access should be given to designated senior staff only. Staff should not share login details with other school/college users

The short video below shows you how to set up early access permissions within Connect.

Note: all other centre staff will be able to view Connect analysis from 8am on results days.

If you have any questions about the embargo period, you can email our Customer Success Team here.
