Ceredigion Strengthens Commitment to Data-Driven Education with Five-Year Alps Summit Agreement

Alps Education is pleased to announce that Ceredigion County Council has renewed its subscription to the Alps Summit platform for a further five years, reinforcing a long-standing partnership focused on improving student outcomes across the region.

Ceredigion, a local authority in West Wales serving a network of 41 schools, has been working with Alps since 2021. Initially adopting Alps at Key Stage 5, the authority has now expanded its commitment to include both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 through a comprehensive five-year Alps Summit subscription.

This renewed agreement will enable the 7 middle and secondary schools across Ceredigion to continue leveraging Alps’ powerful data analytics and performance insights to support teaching, learning and strategic decision-making.

By extending access to both KS4 and KS5, the local authority is ensuring a more cohesive, data-informed approach to student progress across secondary and post-16 education.

The Alps Summit platform provides educators with clear, actionable insights, helping schools to identify strengths, address areas for development and ultimately improve outcomes for learners. The long-term nature of this agreement reflects Ceredigion’s commitment to sustained school improvement and evidence-based practice.

Gwion Dafydd, Corporate Manager for Accountability and Progress at Ceredigion, commented:

“We are delighted to continue and expand our partnership with Alps Education. Over the past few years, Alps has become an integral part of how our schools understand performance and support learners in the 6th Form. Extending this to Key Stage 4 ensures greater consistency in how we use data to drive improvement across the county. This long-term commitment reflects our confidence in the impact Alps can have on outcomes for all our students. Edrychwn ymlaen yn eiddgar at y dyfodol.

Toby Ahern, Commercial Director at Alps, added:

“We’re incredibly proud to continue working with Ceredigion County Council and to support their schools over the next five years. Their commitment to embedding a consistent, data-informed approach across both KS4 and KS5 is exactly what drives meaningful, sustained improvement. We look forward to building on the strong foundations already in place and helping their schools achieve even greater success.”
