Ascend Learning Trust chooses Alps to share best practice and expertise across the Trust

23rd October 2023

With a mission to enhance the life chances of all young people through Excellence in Education, Ascend Learning Trust have chosen to use Alps Summit to track student performance progress across their KS5 and KS4 provision.

The Ascend Learning Trust formed in 2017 and is a successful Trust with seven schools spread across Wiltshire and Swindon. The Trust is dedicated to ensuring every pupil achieves above and beyond their potential with secure and enduring relationships within each Academy in the Trust.

Toby Ahern, Commercial Director at Alps, says: “We are truly excited about this new partnership with Ascend Learning Trust. Both of us are aligned in our commitment to harnessing the power of education to unlock opportunity for all students and to supporting teachers to drive performance improvement. We share a common value; to place children at the very centre of everything that we do. This shared value is what will make this partnership a true success.”

Jane Coley, CEO at Ascend Learning Trust says: We are delighted to be working with Alps this year. Our roles in leading Ascend Learning Trust are based on the simple premise of seeking to maximise the life chances of every pupil within the Trust. We believe this can be achieved by sharing leadership principles and management processes through support and challenge. With a shared common language, the use of Alps will allow us to collaborate and share our expertise more widely and benefit from the strengths and experiences of others in our pursuit of excellence.”

Using the full national DfE dataset, Alps provides comprehensive exam and progress tracking analysis via two platforms, Connect and Summit for over 1300 schools, colleges and groups in the UK and Internationally. We have developed Alps Summit to help Trusts navigate complex assessment data and gain consistency across their schools. Alps Summit enables MAT and Group leaders to strategically analyse and review performance across multiple schools in a simple, easy and effective way, allowing them to ask the right questions, create clear development plans and track their impact with ease, ultimately improving the outcomes for pupils.
