The Howard Partnership Trust chooses Alps to support their mission to ‘Bring out the best’ in students of all abilities

28th February 2024

We are delighted to announce that The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) is the latest Multi-Academy Trust to choose Alps Summit to track student performance progress across their KS5 provision.

Based in Surrey, The Howard Partnership Trust comprises four secondary schools, six primary schools and three special schools. The partnership with Alps will see the implementation of Alps Summit – our group assessment analysis tool – used across three THPT schools at KS5, with Alps Connect also being used in Oxted School, Three Rivers Academy and Howard of Effingham School on an individual site basis.

With a relentless focus on quality teaching, learning and school improvement across all phases of education, the insights gleaned from Alps will help further support The Howard Partnership Trust in their mission to continuously strive for excellence in teaching and learning.

Toby Ahern, Commercial Director at Alps, says: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with The Howard Partnership Trust, as their ethos and mission is closely aligned with our own outlook at Alps: That all children, regardless of background or ability, should be given equal opportunities to succeed and be the best that they can be. I really believe this shared value will make for a truly successful partnership.”

Louise Lee, CEO of The Howard Partnership Trust added: “We are also delighted to be working with Alps to help further enhance the first-rate education we offer across our MAT. Our schools retain their unique features to meet the needs of the communities they serve, but the vision and values that underpin the schools are rooted in the same guided principles. With a shared common language, Alps will allow us to more easily and effectively share our expertise across the Trust, benefitting all of our students and helping to balance teacher effectiveness and workload through great collaboration. Without national value added data Alps expertise experience will be invaluable in ensuring we bring out the best for all of our 6th formers.”

Using the full national DfE dataset, Alps provides comprehensive exam and progress tracking analysis via two platforms, Connect and Summit for over 1300 schools, colleges and groups in the UK and Internationally. We have developed Alps Summit to help Trusts navigate complex assessment data and gain consistency across their schools. Alps Summit enables MAT and Group leaders to strategically analyse and review performance across multiple schools in a simple, easy and effective way, allowing them to ask the right questions, create clear development plans and track their impact with ease, ultimately improving the outcomes for pupils.
