The Bedford College Group chooses Alps to help support students achieve their full potential
We are delighted to announce that The Bedford College Group has chosen to partner with Alps across their KS5 provision for the next three years.
Serving Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and the wider Southeast Midlands, The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017, following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College. The partnership will see the implementation of Alps Summit – our Group assessment analysis tool – at Group level, with Alps Connect also being used in both specialist Sixth Forms based in Corby and Bedford on an individual site basis.
Toby Ahern, Commercial Director at Alps, says: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with The Bedford College Group to help them achieve their vision of being the best and most authoritative post-16 educator in the Southeast Midlands. At Alps, we believe that strong groups offer considerable benefits to students, teachers, and the wider education system, and we are looking forward to working together with The Bedford College Group to support achieving great outcomes for all their students.”
Robin Webber-Jones, Principal for Tresham College, part of The Bedford College Group, adds: “We’re excited to be working with Alps. With Alps Summit and Alps Connect, we’ll be able to take a holistic view of our colleges’ progress at a Group-level, making it much easier to spot trends and patterns across the Group. As well as celebrating success, crucially, we’ll also be able to provide the right levels of support for students and faculty at the right time – ensuring all our students can thrive and achieve the very best outcomes.”
Using the full national DfE dataset, Alps provides comprehensive exam and progress tracking analysis via two platforms, Connect and Summit for over 1300 schools, colleges and groups in the UK and Internationally. Alps Summit enables MAT and Group leaders to strategically analyse and review performance across multiple schools in a simple, easy and effective way, allowing them to ask the right questions, create clear development plans and track their impact with ease, ultimately improving the outcomes for pupils.
